Access to medications is critically important for Americans. Medicare drug and health benefits have gotten more complex over time. This session will provide practical tips for using the Medicare Plan Finder tool and for understanding coverage options for older adults and adults with disabilities. The session will also help attendees understand changes in Medicare benefits during COVID and what that means for our patients.

Brief Bio : Gina earned her Bachelor of Science in pharmacy and her master’s degree in public health at UNC-Chapel Hill. She also completed a residency in geriatric pharmacy practice at UNC-CH. She remains as adjunct faculty with both schools. Between degrees, she served as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer teaching science in Botswana. |
