2022 Research in Education and Practice Symposium (In Person or Online)


The Research in Education and Practice Symposium (REPS) will provide an engaging opportunity for residents, fellows, and postgraduate pharmacy trainees to present their research and projects. Trainees will get the chance to receive high-level feedback on their research and to network with other practitioners across the region.

Objectives
Upon completion of this knowledge-based activity the participant should be able to:

  1. Describe major research projects conducted by pharmacy trainees.
  2. Identify ways that trainees can further develop their research methodology and manuscript writing skills.
  3. Outline useful professional information that trainees can use in the progression of their careers.
  4. Demonstrate preceptor skills that allow enhanced innovation in education and research.

The event will provide an engaging opportunity for residents, fellows, and postgraduate pharmacy trainees to present their research and projects. Trainees will get the chance to receive high-level feedback on their research and to network with other practitioners across the region.

Early Bird registration rates end March 31, 2022.
On Campus attendance of  REPS or an ALL virtual option will be determined by March 15.
All speaker presentation materials and CE packets due no later than May 6, 2022.
 
Cancellation: If the Office of Continuing Education needs to cancel the program, participants will be fully refunded their registration fees. If the participant requests to cancel they may do so, but certain cancellation fees may apply. No refund will be given for individuals who cancel less than 48 hours prior to the live program. Cancellations MUST be in writing (fax, mail or email).

Participants have 60 days from the start of their program to claim CE credit and verify it has been upload to CPE Monitor. If your program requires the completion of a post test/eval/survey those items MUST be done before that 60 day window closes to receive credit for that program. Statements of credit can be viewed and printed from CPE Monitor. Statements of credit will no longer be printed and mailed to the participant. **No partial individual session credit will be given**

Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education
The University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. To receive CE credit, participants must complete the CE attendance form and the online evaluation of the program (instructions to be emailed). Statements of credit can be viewed and printed in CPE Monitor approximately 2 to 3 weeks after the program and you have completed any needed requirements. **No partial credit will be available**

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR RESIDENT PRESENTERS
Every presenter must complete and submit a CE packet in order to meet ACPE standards and present. The packet is available to download under the Course Materials section of this page and can only be accessed AFTER you have completed your registration. This packet, along with your presentation, are due no later than May 6, 2022. If your packet is not complete and returned by that date you will forfeit your presentation space in this program.
