Access to medications is critically important for Americans. Medicare drug and health benefits have gotten more complex over time. This session will provide practical tips for using the Medicare Plan Finder tool and for understanding coverage options for older adults and adults with disabilities. The session will also help attendees understand changes in Medicare benefits during COVID and what that means for our patients.
- Pharmacy Technicians
Participants have 60 days from the start of their program to claim CE credit and verify it has been upload to CPE Monitor. If your program requires the completion of a post test/eval/survey those items MUST be done before that 60 day window closes to receive credit for that program. Statements of credit can be viewed and printed from CPE Monitor. Statements of credit will no longer be printed and mailed to the participant. **No partial individual session credit will be given**

The University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. To receive CE credit, participants must complete the CE attendance form and the online evaluation of the program (instructions to be emailed). Statements of credit can be viewed and printed in CPE Monitor approximately 2 to 3 weeks after the program and you have completed any needed requirements. **No partial credit will be available**
Requirements for CE Credit
Upon completion of this module content you will be required to take a post test and pass with at least a 70%. The post test is located at the bottom of the page. Once you have passed the post test a program evaluation will be available at the bottom of the program page as well. Once completed and submitted your credit will then be uploaded to CPE Monitor.

Gina Upchurch, RPh, MPH
Brief Bio : Gina earned her Bachelor of Science in pharmacy and her master’s degree in public health at UNC-Chapel Hill. She also completed a residency in geriatric pharmacy practice at UNC-CH. She remains as adjunct faculty with both schools. Between degrees, she served as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer teaching science in Botswana.
