About Us
The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy Office of Lifelong Learning provides accredited professional educational activities for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. This is done through many accredited and cosponsored programs, both in live and home study formats. We offer local, regional, and a limited number of national seminars, workshops, certificate programs, and residency programs to advance pharmaceutical care, knowledge, and skills. The CE Office offers many programs within the UNC Eshselman School of Pharmacy, UNC Health Care network, and predominantly partners with North Carolina’s nine regional Area Health Education Centers (AHECs) and the North Carolina Association of Pharmacists (NCAP) to assist the state’s pharmacists in advancing their education, skills, and practices.

The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy Office of Lifelong Learning has recently changed to a new registration system.
We will be transitioning to a new registration system to allow for increased functionality and flexibility in program selection and delivery beginning in February 2023. A link to this new site is available below. Learning ExpressCE will be available until February 28, 2023 to allow participants time to access any old courses, materials, certificates, or credits. Please have everything needed by the end of February to ensure you have a record if it. This system will go offline after that date.

Note: All CPE credits for programs on this site will still be uploaded to CPE monitor once the requirements for that program have been met.

New Partnership with NCAP to offer Long Acting Injectables Virtual Training Program
As of October 1, 2021, immunizing pharmacists in North Carolina now have the authority to administer long-acting injectable medications to patients age 18 and older pursuant to a prescription. This new authority marks a long-awaited win for our profession and addresses a clear public health need that will undoubtedly provide great value to our patients. According to NCBOP rule, immunizing pharmacists who wish to exercise this new authority will require advanced training in long-acting injectables.

In collaboration with Campbell University College of Pharmacy and UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, NCAP is pleased to bring you an ACPE accredited virtual learning experience specifically designed to meet statutory and NCBOP rules for pharmacists in administering long-acting injectables.

This 5-hour training is geared specifically with the busy pharmacist in mind offering bite-sized training modules for completion in 45 minutes or less.
